ACCOUNTS: All accounts are COD. A fee of $35 will be charged on any checks returned unpaid by your bank.

CORE CHARGES: A charge of $75 will be invoiced at the time of sale. The core charge will be refunded upon receipt of a properly packaged core return. See "LEAKING CORES" below.

Shipping to Dealers

SHIPPING: We ship UPS throughout the contiguous 48 states, with core returns picked up on a Call Tag issued 7 to 10 days after the core is shipped. The customer is responsible for all freight costs.

At the customer's request we can also obtain quotes for overnight service via Greyhound bus. Special handling fees apply for these services.

EXPEDITE SERVICE: We strive to maintain a complete inventory, but if the model you need is not in stock, we offer an expedite service for $50 that places priority service on any order. This can reduce the order turnaround by several days during the busy summer season.

Returning Used Cores to ATCO:

Before shipping a core to ATCO America, please remove all parts from the core, including the boiler tin and insulation, baffle, refrigerator fins, etc. (if it's not welded on, take it off). Please be aware that Dometic factory cartons do not fall within UPS standards, and cores shipped in them are subject to UPS over-limit fees.

Sales Returns:

SALES RETURNS: Please contact ATCO America prior to returning any cores for exchange or restock. Freight charges will not be refunded. Returned cores are subject to a $50 restock fee. Returned cores must be in "as new" condition for a refund.

AMMONIA SMELL OR LEAKING CORE RETURNS: If a core smells of ammonia or is leaking fluids, UPS will refuse shipment or will drop it off en route. If you have a core that is leaking or smells of ammonia, please contact ATCO for suggestions for handling and packaging to enable UPS shipment. Cores that leak or smell of ammonia are subject to UPS fines up to $1,000. Any penalties incurred due to customer negligence are the responsibility of the customer.

REBUILD PROCESS: ATCO America completely strips all foam from the core, then sandblasts, cuts, purges the refrigerant, rebuilds, applies the protective galvanizing, paints and re-foams the cooling core. All cores undergo four major tests, including freeze-down, before they are shipped to you. Our cores are shipped with thermal mastic but in an effort to keep costs down, boiler tin and insulation are not included.
